About the Orange Tree

The Sicilian orange (Citrus sinensis), and especially the famous 'Tarocco' blood orange, is one of the most delightful fruits of the Mediterranean. Our orange trees thrive on the plain around Mount Etna, where the volcanic soil gives the fruit its unique flavour.

As a sponsor of a Sicilian orange tree, you receive each year a selection of the finest fruits from your tree – juicy, aromatic and rich in natural antioxidants. Blood oranges are especially prized for their intensely red colour and sweet-tangy taste.

Every delivery contains oranges straight from the tree, harvested at peak ripeness and treated without artificial intervention.
